We offer a friendly and reliable service. Our aim is to settle disputes between parties as amicably as possible. However if it becomes apparent that Court proceedings are necessary, we have the skill and experience required to undertake those proceedings.
Our Costs
Most solicitors charge, like we do, on the basis of time spent on the case e.g. in meetings, writing letters, making telephone calls. For the time spent there is an hourly charge. This will vary according to the seniority of the legal professional working on your case.
- Partners from - £200
- Solicitors from - £175
- Caseworker or Trainee Solicitor from - £120
If your matter is relatively straightforward then usually the time spent is less and it follows that this will be reflected in the costs. In contrast, in a more complicated case, more time and therefore more expense may be incurred.
At our first meeting we try to give you the best estimate we can of the likely costs of your case and this will be confirmed in writing. Sometimes it is difficult to accurately estimate the costs involved because of factors beyond our control for example the degree to which your spouse/partner cooperates and whether any urgent court hearing might be involved. We will endeavor to review your case and keep you informed regarding costs as the matter progresses.
